Thanks to all of you for responding. Actually many things raise my blood pressure. But all salt, including Sea Salt is one of the things that definitely does raise it. I have been on a low sodium diet for 20 years, and have been pretty strict. I am
hoping the Iodine will lower my bp. Am not vegetarian but eat a very good vegetable oriented diet without processed food. I was wondering if the low salt diet could have contributed to Iodine deficiency. Any ideas. I really have to get the bp down and I don't think the Sea Salt will work for me. I tried it the other day and my bp did go up. I tried it again yesterday with half the amount Sea Salt and it still went up though maybe not quite as bad.
