Re: This is the 21st century
Hi Dreamr,
Great post, you see it like I do, there are a lot of things that need to be addressed before she undertakes a fast. When reading through her posts the more I read the more concerned for her I became. My heart goes out to people whose lives are out of control. Like you said you don't need to be a medical professional to see that she is quite possibly putting herself in real danger physically, not to mention the state of ones mind when fasting is very important and she doesn't seem to be in a good place right now, too much confusion.
As I mentioned in one of my posts I have recently started staying home instead of working, after going through this forum and reading about ED's I began to wonder if maybe I might have one. I had started eating when I wasn't even hungry, but I attributed it to boredom. I have never done this before and it kind of had me worried so I took all those ED tests that Steve posted. All of them showed that I did not have an ED. I know they are not at all conclusive in diagnosing an ED but for me it eased my mind. Anyway I ate like that for only a couple of days, I don't do that anymore. I have decided to get on the treadmill every time I start getting bored, that will get me into the exercise again, LOL.
I truly hope that Lauray gets the help she needs, I think it would be remiss of us in the
Water Fasting forum to encourage her in a fast in her present condition.
Hope all is well with you.
