Re: This is the 21st century
Actually Lauray, I agree with Nadia. Your posts go back for 19 months, and they more or less all say the same thing, and unless you do something different I think they will go on saying the same thing. Even if you eventually complete a 10 day fast, what difference will that make?
Also unlike Dr Shelton's practice, we don't know how old you are, what your weight is, what your health is like. On a
Shelton fast, I presume you would go in, be seen, be weighed, be checked, be supervised, be monitored. You would have been asked about your previous eating habits, allowed to fast only as long as was considered appropriate, and any refeeding would have been done properly. Then you would have appeared as a success statistic in one of Mr Shelton's books.
However in Shelton's day they did not have television (very powerful influence, ask Raine), size 0 models, supermarkets packed with low nutritional value addictive meals containing transfats, growth hormones and so on. Now we have cars to stop you getting exercise... TV remote controls to make your ass fatter. Anyway
Shelton didn't even know what eating disorders were, they didn't have that kind of problems in his day. Food was simple and uncomplicated then...
Part 2 tomorrow. I am tired now, been chatting on skype. Men can't multi task...
