I never really "studied" prophecy, but I've noticed that Daniel's prophecies don't mention "earthquakes". The Lord said that "there will be earthquakes in various places" (plural) for the beginning of the "birth pangs". Revelation 6:12 speaks of a "great earthquake".

The prophecies Jesus spoke of seem to refer to different time periods and likely are ongoing in fullfillment.

But the whole issue of prophecy is actually just academic (like Paul, I also decided to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified), I just can't figure out how "preterists" can actually believe that Revelation has already happened. Tweet
