Wind power is already working and providing 20 percent in Denmark. There is nothing experimental about it. It is a proven technology. All it needs is to be expanded to its maximum potential.

There is no bureacracy necessary. Wind power can be built one generator at a time unlike coal or nuclear. Large wind generators are cheaper than home ones which are total bird killers,sqwauk. If you put up a small wind generator at your place in a short amount of time you chop up every single bird in the area. They are invisible to birds when turning and make a horrific noise which unless you live on 30 acres would drive your neighbors nuts. I know someone who had such a setup. Over time they would kill every bird.

It seems you dont like them because you cant control them and you just dont like the government or big capitalists.
Well if thats your feeling get some solar panels. Much more expensive yet , but quite and dont kill birdies.

Passive or active solar windows can heat any home that is properly designed.
