How much information that filters down to us regarding reserves is accurate?
By many accounts the oil reserves in the middle east should have been empty in the 90's.
Thomas Gold also mentioned that the middle eastern oil fields are in nature similar to that of eugene island and that there is a supply rate at which the reserves will remain constant with good pressure.

Over the years we've heard the same thing over and over again in the news - opec is cutting the supply - increasing, cutting, increasing......................
