We need a WPA project to install huge numbers of large wind generators and create jobs. They CAN provide a large amount of electrical need with the CURRENT PROVEN TECHNOLOGY. The cost is the same or lower than coal or oil or gas and no pollution.
It is one of the best options available. Nothing else comes close to it. 7 cents a kw hour or less.
