Hi...I was 16 when i was diagnosed with pseudo tumor cerebri, and now i'm 18, i am not overweight at all, however i was taking facial medication and that is the reason that caused this disease to occur. If you are on any kind of birth control or taking any kind of Acne medication , then get off of it immediately, this could simply be an allergic reaction to the medication (thats what my case was) and BEFORE you get a shunt permanetly placed into you, get other doctors advice, because many doctors wanted to do that to me, but i had countless numbers of spinal taps and i took a very strong dosage of diamox and it slowly but surely got better! I understand what you're going through, the headaches are unbearable and the double vision is scary,but I promise it will get better, just keep trying! Tweet
