You've only had it 2 weeks!!!!!
I had mine a little over a year when it started affecting my body. For the 1st year, I thought it was great. In fact, when I first started getting sick, I never even thought about the Mirena that I had. But after 3 months, one of my friend's husband asked my husband if I had an IUD!!!!! I was shocked.....1 because it was a guy who asked about the IUD, and 2 because I never put 2 and 2 together with the Mirena. Of course, I still didn't believe it at first until I found this forum, and there were ladies on here that had the exact same symptoms I had. In fact, I had symptoms that I hadn't even thought that was a problem in the first place. I was loosing my hair, but I never really thought that much about it, because I have long hair, and I'm always am pulling hair out of my brush, but my husand is the one that pointed out that more was coming out than usual and my hair was starting to look thin.
Anyways, since I got the Mirena removed, I feel 100% better. My hair is back to being thick again, I don't have anxiety anymore. I do believe that my problems were caused by Mirena, and the fact that I do feel better now makes me believe it even more.
Coming on here to tell ladies that they are wrong is defeating the purpose of this forum being here. I come here to let ladies know how my progress is going, and we all come here for advice.
We don't mind that you come here and tell your story, even if it's a good story, just please don't try to tell us that we are all wrong about what we are going through.
