please go look on the mirena website under women who should not use mirena section. it says that if you have a liver disease or a liver tumor not to use mirena. when i had mirena and before that on bc pills i had yellowish skin. my doctors always told me yellow skin is normal. possibly had to do with my liver? now that i am no longer on bc of any kind my skin is very white. please, please look into it further. it seems women from all educational backgrounds and all wallks of life have been deceived by their doctors. they treat mirena like it is a god. i do realize some women do not have a bad experience with mirena. i wished i had been one of them. i truly believe bc pills and mirena were toxic for me. i wish you a LONG, HEALTHY life.
