Re: What's the best assimilable form(s) of calcium supplement? Recommendations?
As a final note people are consuming way too much calcium without realizing the adverse effects. These include high blood pressure, muscle spasms, heart arrhythmias, restless leg syndrome, and constipation to name a few.
These are not symptoms of too much calcium ,but not enough magnesium and other needed minerals ! This is why one should include all the major minerals and trace minerals in supplementation ! They all work synergistically including vitamins which are generally acids and both help each to be usefully assimilated!
When thinking minerals think balance and testing your pH to help guide you in your needed ratios of each and the balance needed in the foods you consume! Egg shell calcium made with ACV or lemon juice is one of the most assimilated forms of calcium and many other minerals and trace minerals, but notice the acid that compliments the alkaline!
Calcium is one the most needed in larger quantities! The basic form of the human body is made of calcium so in ratio one needs more calcium then other minerals! But the caveat is to take it properly with a complementary mineral compound or acid!
