Re: EDIT. Does anyone water fast every other day?

Your quote..........
"Also I never stated that fasting starts ED's in general or causes, why are you putting words in my mouth?."
Really?
Well here it is..........
I never hear anyone on here saying mentioning that said person may be developing an ED, "it is fact that fasting has caused eating disorders"
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1280031#i
Sarcasm will get you nowhere on this forum...........
"LOL I totally appreciate you copying and pasting a disorder I have lived with for over 12 yrs, gee thanks."
Another quote.........
"I am only saying that people have fasted and have lost control and got tied to the scale and developed an Eating Disorder,"
Which means you are saying that fasting is the cause of an ED, which is complete nonsense as shown by my previous post. ED's are of a psychological origin. Ask any professional within that specialty of care and they will repeat the same.
Quote...........
"but of course to you fasting is the be all end all. And no one can say anything negative about fasting."
No, fasting is not the be all and end all of life, but bear in mind that it is Natures first choice of healing. It is also not a panacea, but the nearest thing to it.
Is there really anything negative to say about Gods and Natures own remedy?
Quote......
"The majority of people fasting here for weight loss do NOT do it properly and Do NOT successfully break their patterns."
But at least they are trying and being positive and honest about their attempts to do so and where we also offer them support and not demonstrate a negative/defeatist response as you are doing.
Quote.............
"Anything mental or psychological is not black and white like you always quoting your little book passages."
There are two ways of learning anything....
#1. Hands on personal experience.
#2. Literature from people who have had that hands on experience. My copy/pastes are of this origin and therefore valid to quote.
Anorexia rates differ in different parts of the World and where the 10% of males you are quoting come from a copy/paste academic background?
Quote...........
"just a quick question do you always quote stuff you do not know about? Anyone can cut and paste out of a text book."
An assumption based on conjecture. You are assuming I know very little if anything about Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa which is an assumption bordering on arrogance.
Quote................
"Anyways you can continue to google or wikipedia all you want but still doesn't make you any expert on something you have not lived through. And these are the facts my friend."
That is quite right, this doesn't make me an expert on Anorexia or Bulimia, but when you have had a daughter who has had both for the last 8 years, and friends daughters who have the same affliction, & where I have been instrumental in their recovery, I would say that makes me pretty knowledgeable about it my friend.
My warmest regards.
