I'm aware of "Your body's Many Cries For Water", and how much most people would do well to heed all those findings FIRST, and I know that most people probably *are* dehydrated, certainly those on medications or eating SAD, barring the numbers who are waterlogged...it's a complex picture.
But as Chris points out in his post in this thread, and it bears repeating,
we don't actually know much about how a healthy body operates...one that is
"obeying nature", is not in need of the several cleanses that it seems most people need, is not overweight, or underweight, is getting distilled water largely from fresh high quality fruits and vegetables,
and so on.
That comment of mine has been taken out of context and appears to say the opposite of what i'm saying.
I have (just in the past few months--since this water fast) come to a place where I see that simply getting people to drink eight glasses of water a day is not going to get to the whole picture--but you're right. It's *part* of the picture.
