Re: Electrolyte water?

I had Smartwater the last day before breaking fast. It taste just like plain water but has calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, & potassium bicarbonate.
To tell you the truth it did nothing for the faint, spinning feeling I had. Even laying down I felt no different. Yet right after drinking the water my acid reflux went away. I read a long time back the water has a higher acidity so maybe it balanced me out?

I would not try tablets. Like others said, it will have fillers (everything man made has fillers). And then the ultimate question would be is it a Water Fast any longer if you are taking tablets? If you do not care to be a purist about fasting why not try a squeeze of lemon? It has a natural amount of electrolytes to balance you out.

I agree with their is no such thing as 'pure'. I read this article today and it brought up a lot of questions of what could I possibly drink (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27185076/wid/11915773?GT1=43001) Unfortunately even though I live in America and all should be 'wonderful' here, we have a poor water quality. I could not even imagine drinking tap water.

I personally drink filtered water. I fill up old jugs and drink that during fasts. It is cheap and the only water I feel comfortable drinking without worrying too much. Yet I could never be sure.
