Lisa I did mention getting off the pill. It would be the healthiest thing to do. I personally developed breast lumps within 2 months of being on the pill so I'm against it. At the same time I have a 17 year old daughter (will be 18 in one month) who has a 5 month old baby. And in my own life babies have dramatically changed the course. I don't regret any of them but not everyone is cut out to have babies. Which is why I recommended he research alternative protection.

I gave information on what I know. I know of no way to get rid of hair permanently naturally. If I did I wouldn't have hair on my legs, or under my arms, and I would like to lighten the hair on my arms. I am a tiny bit Indian by heridity and dark thick hair runs in the family. I'm the only one of my family that inherited this trait and I find it unladylike (my sister, brother, mother and one of my daughters are blond hair and the hair on thier body barely shows) but I live with it because it's just the way I was made. It is a possibility that his girlfriend would have hair on her face whether she was on the pill and no matter what she ate. He hasn't posted age and many women have hair as they get older.

My skin never thickened or bubbled from waxing but I only tried it for about 6 months. As far as I could see the hair also kept coming back with no considerable lessening of thickness.

The only time I didn't have hair on my legs was when I was becoming diabetic with my last pregnancy.(and of course with shaving) Then the hair was missing in patches. I would seriously question anything that stopped hair growth as I would wonder if it's being caused by malabsorption. You can also lose hair if you lose weight too fast. I've done that too.

I was trying to be sensitive to their situation. If you have healthy ways to get rid of hair please post them because I want to use them.

I've now shared more personal information with you folks online than I ever wanted to. I may need to hide for a while. It's embarrassing. I shared it because I am someone who deals with hair and has searched for a way to naturally reduce it and not found anything.

Who would have thought I would ever be telling people how much hair I have? ::flail::

Take care,
Lisa
