I quite agree with what you say.... this forum has come up with a lot of second-hand reports from doctors that these stones are largely made of cholesterol, and I think Agnes is probably right that olive oil contains little cholesterol.

All of this makes it highly likely that the test will come back positive. And if so, maybe we can just put this whole argument to rest at last. It will also be nice to be able to say to doubting Thomases, "Just go do the color test and see for yourself" .

As for people who seem to exhaust their stones after a point and get no more, I've often wondered whether they have given up too soon, after a few 'dry' flushes. One more reason to do the color test.

The suspense builds.
