I was going to suggest that to you, I'm glad you tried it and it worked well for you! I've successfully killed parasites with castor oil (1 TB a bedtime), and the undecylenic acid in it is supposed to also kill fungus/candida. Old timers used to use castor oil to deworm the whole family with years ago. The one I have is tasteless/odorless and it still worked to kill roundworms. WSW's posted about putting castor oil in capsules and freezing them and having success also killing worms.

I was reading on the Andreas Moritz archived forum, that he says you can take 1 TB in the am on an empty stomach for cleansing the bowel. Taking it in the am made me have to stay by the pot, but taking it at nighttime didn't.

I know from reading old posts, that Yellowbirdmom did the castor oil cleanse like you did, and I think that was how she originally found the flukes (after doing many liver flushes prior, not killing parasites)
