Re: Infected, Obsessed, Possessed
Thank you Glax, very interesting post.
What it brought to my mind is that the bodies of saints by tradition do not decay, and do not decompose. They don't smell bad, but have a floral odor. I bet they don't have parasites, I expect they are psychically strong enough that they can resist.
Certainly energtic issues are ignored by the medical profession, which is split anyway by training. Psychologists study brain chemestry, medical doctors prescribe medications they don't understand. Our only western resource for possession is usually the Catholic chruch, and only a few religions outside of the Catholic Church will even go there.
As they say, as above, so below, so an astral nasty is going to cause an effect on the physical side, and changes in the psyche are going to effect anything that has attached to the person that doesn't belong there. Like anything, sometimes stuff just happens, and sometimes the person will have done something that creates an opening to something that drains energy. That something is going to have to change for the person to regain their physical health, because otherwise the drain is going to just continue.
Cured, I guess I don't agree with you on the violence and
parasite connection, I think there is one, but it isn't strainght forward. I'm married to man who is half Swedish, and to be honest, I think they only quit pillaging because they decided it causes more harm than good. Sweden now requires all citizens to serve in the military, there normal military training last a year for the 'basic' part, and includes a lot more than what we expect of our elite military. Sweedish elite military is trained to the level of the esoteric Asian martial arts, and then sworn to secrecy, then turned loose back into the general population.
No one want to invade Sweeden, they are just too prepared.
Interesting thread, thanks,
Julie
