Re: Infected, Obsessed, Possessed
Brilliant.
BTW, I've had some ideas from my own personal experience... don't know if I should really share them, they are waaaay off the wall.
I had a moment while taking the first round of medication when in the middle of the night I felt an "entity" (one entity) leave my body. It freaked me out in the middle of the night, I woke up, and still had some strange chills going through my body for another few seconds. Later that morning, I felt like a new person and for the first time in many months put in my favorite musing CDs and listened to some nice music. I felt so much different.
And a few days before I had first serious health problems (a few years ago), my better half had a dream in which I had some strange ugly, dark entity attacking me from my back, holding on to me very strongly, and I was trying to shake it off but unsuccessfully (all that going on in a foreign country which we visited a few weeks earlier). My better half has these "health" and "psychic" dreams from time to time, and they are always right on, no matter how strange they seem at first.
After all that, I am entertaining the idea that
parasites are the essence of evil in this world, and that a person "infected" with
parasites is really in a way posessed by the negative types of energies which are typical for material existance...
One more thing: look at the distribution of wars, bloodshed and constant agression in the world. Those places which are endemic areas for parasites, are also traditionaly known to be prone to wars, agression and bloodshed: India, Pakistan, Afganistan, Africa, and some parts of S. America. Then compare that to other tropical places which are islands and known not to have too many or any parasites: Hawaii, Marshal Islands, Australia, Seychelle, etc. Or compare that to those cold places which are known not to have
parasites and look at their history of (lack of) wars: Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, Greenland, Canada, etc. Russia on the other hand is the place where Entamoeba histolytica was first identified (which is a surprise considering their cold climate)... and their history is not exactly boring.
Are parasites the vehicle of evil? To me the fact that they are not seriously taken into consideration by modern medicine, and their stealth nature is a proof that they may very well be.
Luckily, even with parasites, we still have our free will. Our behaviour even when influenced by parasites is still under our own control. We determine if we want to get angry and so on, although speaking from my experience, it takes all the energy one has. And even then, parasites do open us up to negative influences of all kinds: our energies are so low that we don't notice potential threats, we don't run when we should, and we don't notice important details any more. We become "game" more then humans...
