Archus, most of what you say is true, but I need to clarify about testing basal temp. You take the temp. after waking up and before getting out of bed. A healthy temp. is between 97.8 and 98.2. If lower than you may be low thyroid. This test is not 100% accurate, as other things can lower body temp. besides thyroid. But it is a very good measure. Also you can take temps throughout the day.
