I'm so sick of people who haven't been in pain all their lives answering, "You create your own illness because that's where your mind is." You're right, Anja, one feels completely psyched into thinking one has finally turned the corner - I think it deeply villainous for people who don't know what it's like, the constant struggle, neverending, hope and despondency, to say, "You just don't deep down want to be well."
