Re: What do med schools teach doctors about parasites?
Hi again
Wow! I went and looked at "Humaworm" website and some of the threads on this site. The more I read, the more I'm finding people writing about the same symptoms I've been experiencing. (There was one who said they had pain below their left ribs-I've had really weird intermittent pain there for more than a year.) And my hair HAS been thinning; quite a few people have mentioned hair loss as a symptom of parasite infection...(I just thought my biological clock was doing a fast forward!)
It never occurred to me that my health issues might be due to human parasites. Even after I was diagnosed with blastocyst, for a while I thought it was an amoeba, sort of like the kind that's common with travelers who ate the salad at the bus stop. (Well, I thought that, until I tried to get rid of it.) I guess I was just like a lot of other people, assuming that parasites are a "third world" problem. What a wake up call!
In retrospect, that jaundice I had after my trip may not have been entirely due to blastocysts. Looking at all my symptoms, combined with information that there are about 1000 or so human parasites, and most humans are infected with at least one, leads me to believe that I'm probably hosting more than one.
I'm going to reconsider my options. Instead of researching a lot of toxic drugs that may (or may not) kill blastocyst, (and WILL certainly make me horribly ill again for ten days), I'm going to look at the herbal cleanses. That just makes more sense! The most highly praised one seems to be the Humaworm formula and I'm thinking that is the way to go.
I finally have some validation and hope after two years of struggling for answers...
