Re: What do med schools teach doctors about parasites? n/m
Absolutely nothing. A parastilogy course in an elective and even then they are taught about parasite infections in Third World countries - not about parasite infections right here in America. Doctors are also taught nothing about nutrition either - but that's a whole different can of worms!
My cousin was in med school 30 years ago and he took the elected parastilogy course. He was nearly laughed out (and almost kicked out) of class because he kept telling what he knew about parasites and herbs. We both grew up learning about natural medicine - he just went the other route to help folks.
My doctor cousin will tell you that they are trained to treat
symptoms -not root causes of illnesses. Think if all diabetics were
"cured" - or cancer - or aids - or heart disease. Think of how many
countless BILLIONS of dollars would be lost.
The medical community does not want cures - too much money would be
lost. There is only a 1% chance that parasites would be found even
if tested for. Modern medicine does not have the tests for them and
won't develpo them. If all candida yeast infections were cured,
companies like Monistat, Lotrimin, etc. would go bankrupt. We would
not need their female yeast infection, athlete's foot and jock itch
temporary fix products. (all of these are candida yeat infections -
same parasite, different parts of the body affected).
I have to stop now - I could go on all night about this one!
