Re: Boggle

Hi JM,

Thanks for the pat on the back, but I really don't deserve it at all. I am just one of the lucky ones that had that 'spiritual revelation' and that was it for me. I realized I never had to drink again. I wish I could bottle it and give it away, but it just doesn't work that way.

You are right, my friend had gotten herself into a terrible financial hole, lost her house in a particualy creative way, and I think she's just given up. And you are right, alternative health is hard hard going, lets face it, who in their right minds actually wants to go do that Coffee-Enema or a liver flush. When you do it a while, you know you benefit, and that makes it easier, but, lets face it, it's probably a lot more fun to do jail time, than hook yourself up to a zapper, you have got to be motivated! If you are an addict, or an alcoholic, it's just easier to go have a drink and forget it. I have another lady I really like who is a late stage chronic alcholic, she's coughing up blood, but she won't stop drinking. (Gosh, do you think there might just be some sort of a connection between that quart of vodka, and stomach problems?)

I am feeling a lot better, this last 6 months I've very much improved. I'm taking daily doses of oil of oregeno- it's a long list at this point, I don't want to bore anyone, but the combined stuff is working.

I can tell now when something in particular is helping, I'm actually getting my energy back. Biggest help in detox is distilled water, and now I'm really cleaning up my diet, I've turned into a food nazi.

but what is really sad, is my friend got such inadequate medical treatement, it's probably the first time in her life she actually really had insurance from her job, and she got the MD's from hell. After her surgury, she got an infection that almost killed her, poor follow up care, and wound up back in the hospital again. When you know there are things that really DO work for cancer, for what is killing her, it's very hard to watch.

However, it just makes me more determined to really get better, I'll have to be a cranky old lady of 106 for both of us.

Julie
