And along with the understanding that the kidney water(urine) is not designed to ever carry anything toxic,tho the design may be afected by a particulaly toxic environment, the liver turns the particular broken down protein/amino acid concoction that has become amonia into urea. The liver moves the chemical pieces around as need be, creating and detoxifing.
