Urea

Yes great post James!

I thought it was worth adding some more info about urea. Though it can be toxic Martha Christie in Your Own Perfect Medicine discusses its astonishing properties. Apart from aiding in protein synthesis by maintaining proper nitrogen levels it's a potent anti-bacterial and anti-viral substance. It's also a strong diuretic.

Urea seems to be one of the most researched substances in medicine. Christie cites many clinical applications and double-blind studies using it as a treatment for the following...

reducing excess fluid pressure on the brain
skin treatment for eg eczema, dry skin, fungal infections
cancerous ulcerations
infected wounds, ulcers, burns
treatment/destruction of rabies and polio viruses
brain tumours
meningitis
chronic glaucoma
delirium tremens
epilepsy
urinary tract infections
and lots of others which I didnt have the time to go through the whole book to find!

Anyway, impressive eh!

Its a shame I can't do UT at the moment, I'm chelating :-(
