Re: What if this is really bad?
Hello Maria,
The US has determined that for water treatment the acceptable long term intake of chlorite is 0.03 mg/kg of body weight. That works out to about a third of a drop of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for a person weighing 70 kg.
The limit is raised to 0.1 mg/kg of body weight for intermediate term exposure (i.e. a couple of months). This is about 1 drop of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for a person weighing 70 kg.
It's a good thing that
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is only needed for a very short period of time. [smile icon]
The largest study of high concentration ingestion of chlorites is going on right now. Unfortunately it is not well organized, but everyone taking MMS is a part of it. In a few years we should know more about it. One way to look at it is that you and your son are making history.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are ample safety factors built into these limits, but it is always best not to push things too far. I tend to view MMS as a broad spectrum chemo therapy. Take it as a first aid measure to get things under control, then stop taking high concentrations of it.
It may be that low, or ultra low doses may help more, or as much as the high concentration doses. Some study is going on in this direction, but it is too early for results. The initial results look promising, but more research is needed. This really needs to be formally studied, but funds and professional interest don't indicate that this will happen in the near future.
