Re: What are your thoughts on the Gravidyne

I have never seen one of these or used one. I know I
do really like the stainless steel properties of the
Big Berkey and so that was my main consideration in
getting it. I also use glass rather than plastics for
most of my storage although I do have a lexan Pi-Mag
filter which is about the size of the Berkey lexan
one and once it is processed, I move it to glass.

My thoughts for the most part would be that you should
get the cleanest water you can in a situation where
it may present health hazards. I have a Waterwise
distiller which can be used on an open fire if need
be. I can also solar pasteurize water if I feel it
may contain parasites or bacteria from contamination.

In a pinch, I would even boil the water if I am not
sure, or use Oil of Oregano as an additive.

I like the idea of your Simple Pump and want to
look into it since we also pump water and when the
power goes out we have to get out the generator
when we run out of saved water.
