Severe Dehydration, can it be fixed?

Hello, I am a very large 32 yo woman who recently visited a nutritionist/ ND for help with my weight and other health problems. She did some test that said I was only 40% water! SHe said that I was very very dehydrated. I told her I drank like ten glasses of water a day and she said I'm just peeing it out, not absorbing it.

In my twenties I controlled my weight with laxatives and vomiting. As soon as I stopped I ballooned up to 250 pounds.

The ND gave me some electrolytes and said that I had to be deligent about drinking them to get my cells to absorb the water.

So my question is, is it really possible to be only 40% water??? And can drinking these electrolytes really fix it? And how long will it take? I can't afford to keep seeing the ND at $150 a visit! Any help would be appreciated...
