I wonder if Vitamin C, sodium ascorbate as Owen suggests, could be picked up by the skin in a bath.

Bahamians use local herbs (just a handful) in a healing soothing bath...maybe Vitamin C is part of that.


It would be worthwhile if, while in the Bahamas, you look up a local Bush Medicine person. I saw one gal on local TV who seemed to know her stuff.

Bet there are others, most any place you go.
