wow...chiropractic did a lot for you. it's aweful being sick. I'm so happy you recovered from all that.
I think depending on where the problem areas are for people would dictate which therapies to start, when to add others, what is best. there's a place for a lot of them. but supplements never did anything for me either, as my problems weren't just a lack of some nutrient even though I did show lack in some...there was a lot more going on. were herbs useful for me?... some were, some were not. I can't say they were not useful though, as some definitely did put my health at a higher level. but herbs should not be used as a dependency, I completely agree. they are aids and if they are not helping root problems, then it's going to be hard to get better.
the cure is getting flow back in the body in all forms, getting rid of all forms of obstruction, whether stones, poisons, parasites, build up in linings of vessels/organs, or nerve, blood, lymph flow. and I'm a big believer in healthy diet. but a simple theory, and not so simple to achieve, depending on how far gone people are. but it all can be done. and then don't pollute oneself again! because it's dang hard to get out of sometimes.
for people that are terminally sick, I believe they need heavy duty detoxing, which may not mean done quickly, they may not be able to tolerate fast change...but change there must be. could it all be done with just increase flexibility. my opinion is it needs more as by this time so much needs correction, there's physical blockages within the body that need to be dissolved, flushed, and killed. and when things have already taken a firm hold, they need quite a bit of help leaving. it depends on the problems and how far gone someone is. but do I think flexibility is important...yes, definitely. and better to do all healthful things in the first place and not get sick...but alas, not what usually happens.
I do see what you are saying though, and the answer isn't another pill, even a natural one, the answer is in clearing out what's causing the problem. I think we agree on a lot actually, only you've found it in spinal alignment and flexibility, and I've found it in diet, juicing, and getting rid of stones and parasites.
