Unfortunately, now that he is odor-free, the test would show negative. He would have to do all the wrong things to smell again, and he's not willing to do that for a while. There's always the future to get that done for him. Perhaps he'll do the genetic test instead, but that costs alot more money. We'll see.
I do suggest you get tested before you do away with your odor, so that you won't find yourself in the same predicament.
