Re: Anything helpful for paranoia?
I suffered with GAD, depression, anxiety attacks, migraines, paranoia, memory loss,IBS etc, etc....
I went to a doctor who tried the 'natural way route' which I preferred. After three years I can tell you that diet and natural supplements helped some, my migraines cleared and my
Depression eased. My doc said I had a parasite, Candida,
food allergies , etc...
For paranoia I really believe that it was due to poor digestion due to stress due to
parasites and PTSD, I had a snowball affect. For the paranoia I would suggest you try vitamin B12 shots they really seemed to help even though I was in denial I was even paranoid until I felt the paranoia lifting.
I am not a doctor but would suggest you seek a therapist who has a broader approach to your problems, than just prescribing anti-psychotics. I myself benefited tremendously from low doses of an antidepreassant and a low dose of an SSRI for the GAD. As for the anxiety and anxiety attacks they magically disappeared, and I do not give the meds all the credit, rather I listened to a CD set by Claire Weekes called Pass Through Panic which gave me much relief within 48 hrs!!!! I have played it several times as it is not only soothing but is helping me find my way through much negative thinking. I did not believe words could help heal so quickly!
I hope this helps. If you need any more info please feel free to Email me.
