Thanks for that response. I was wondering about that myself when I see people who are on Juice/water fast too. The juice has got to act just like my broth and signal digestion, right? Oh well, I am still plugging away with my water and a cup of tea when I need it but I cut out the broth due to what Total said. I might have to add juice to my fast soon because I am starting to feel a little "tired" with having a two year old and working full time. Otherwise, the hunger is not a worry except at a couple of hours during the day......keep telling myself that it will pass!

Oh, I also want to say that I have some health issues that I wanted to see if fasting could help me with. Ever since I got eclampsia in pregnancy I have had high blood pressure and taking lisinipril. For a 39 year old to have hbp was making me really sad so as of yesterday my blood pressure was 109/74 without any meds for last 9 days!! I am so happy. I also have a blood clotting disorder and take coumadin and have not been able to regulate my blood for past four months and yesterday, I am in a safe theraputice range!! I still take my coumadin during fasting because it is too dangerous for me to try and not take it. I have have two strokes without it and won't recommend to anyone to stop that med during fast.
