Hey, thought I'd put my 2 cents in but first congrats on both of you for sticking with your goals. :) From my reading, I do agree that taking in anything other than water will stimulate the digestive system taking you out of the state that Water Fasting puts you in. However healing still will happen, albeit at a slower rate. How much slower? I don't know but I read a post from a lady who did a 40 day juice fast with great results. I personally added juice to the Water Fast b/c I am not leisure to rest as much as my body wanted to on just water, but my tongue is still coated. So just a little additional info that I've read on the board.
