What works for me is have lights bright in the day, lights low at night, so my pineal is in tune with what my plans are for my life.
Then I recommend Melatonin. They are sold in 3 mg capsules. You can actually take a porton, say a quarter and start off with that. If you are really hyper, take up to 3 or even 5 mg.
Be aware, the three people I have talked about Melatonin with, who took it had nightmares at one time or another. I do too, but reading about the benefits of supplementing this hormone and it's effectiveness in getting me to sleep is worth it.
