Thank you for your response...your words are all very interesting.

I do not eat beans, so mung beans are not an option; but, I will order these sprouting jars soon and experiment as much I can.

Have you (or any others) had any success sprouting brazil nuts? I have had trouble finding information relating to the soaking of brazil nuts, let alone sprouting them, so perhaps it has already been attempted and proven futile.

Now for another ridiculous "newbie" question: How about cacao beans? Is it at all possible to sprout these? They are seeds, of course, but perhaps I am being a little extreme and hopeful, even for me.

And finally! Do you ever marinate your sprouts?
