well i sprout all the time using nothing but mason jars i bought at the thrift shop for 25 cents a piece and a mesh strainer, so those things you linked should work just fine.
someone in this forum suggested you don't need to buy special sprouting sunflower seeds and i tried some seeds i had but they didn't work too well. but then again they were pretty old seeds, and they were not even organic. so i will try to get some fresher, organic seeds and see if that works. almonds will work, don't need special sprouting almonds. they don't develop into a full size sprout, but they will grow a small tail. never tried pumpkin seeds so i can't tell you about that. but you can always try a small amount and see.
however, the easiest thing to sprout is mung beans and you certainly don't need any special seeds for that. just get some organic mung beans and sprout away.
