While I realize that "reality" is the best for kite-flying --(my dad used to get cheapie little kite kits and we flew them together when I was a little girl :)-- I still want to let you know that I've already flown your kites with you several times...in fact EVERY time I've viewed the pictures. I lived in South Miami for 4-5 years and spent every free moment I could 'gather up' down in the Keys (or occasionally the Everglades)...and many was the day that I thought of how beautifully wondrous it would be to have a kite "in hand" :) :) :)

The first time I saw those pictures and read your words, I closed my eyes and smiled. I could feel the warm salt-breeze on my body (the refreshing negative ions!) and feel the tugging of the string in my hand. And while I let my 'kite spirit' soar, the cleansing tears washed away all my 'big people problems', and for just a few minutes I felt that pure joy (and hope) of childhood. In fact, I'm feeling it again now.

Thank you SO much for all your 'technical' information, research and posts...but thank you most of all for your glorious kites and for giving me the opportunity to run and dance in the wind with you, and with them.

You are REALLY special :)
