I use a liquid, organic fertilizer for most of my sprouts.
Dear Uny,
Thanks for your very kind comments about my
kite-playground. It does give a lot of real
pleasure to many people, including me.
I grow my wheatgrass sprouts on round black
trays, that sit in a shallow pan of water.
I described my method of growing sprouts,
on my website.
Once the sprouts have put their tiny tails
down through the grating on the round tray,
I add about 5 drops of an organic liquid
fertilizer to the water in the holding tray.
I change the water each morning, and that's
when the fertilizer goes in.
I use Sea-Plus, which comes in a 16
oz bottle
and lasts forever. I buy it from Johhny's
Selected Seeds in Maine, but I'm sure it's
available at many places. Johnny's website is:
Johnnyseeds.com and their order-line is
1-877-564-6697. I haven't had to buy any
Sea-Plus for several years, so I hope they
still sell it.
I hope, Uny, that someday, somewhere, we can
fly my kites together!
Blessings,
Owen
