Fenugreek sprouts are delicious!
To all my Friends on CureZone:
I've been sprouting seeds successfully for
a long time, but it's only in the last year
or so that I began sprouting fenugreek seeds.
It's probably that strange name that kept
me away from them. I don't honestly know
where they come from originally. But fenugreek
sprouts are EASY to grow, and I find them
very tasty. As I type, there's a two-day old
tray of fenugreek sprouts on the floor near
my eastern window. They grow very fast.
They're also a clean-growing sprout. There's
no left-over mess on the tray; no seeds that
didn't sprout, and began to spoil. I eat all
the fenugreek sprouts. Steve Meyerowitz, the
sprouting guru, says fenugreek seeds are good
at removing mucus from our bodies.
I buy the seeds from Sun Organic Farms in
San Marcos, California. They charge $3.95
for a pound of fenugreek seeds, and have lots
of other delicious sprouting-seeds, too.
Their website is:

and their order-line is 1-888-269-9888.
All you do is soak the seeds you're going
to sprout, for 8 hours in pure water. Then
drain off the soak-water, and re-soak them
every three hours until you see tails coming
out of the seeds. It won't take long. After
that, drain the seeds one last time, and
put them on the tray to sprout.
If you would like to read about my system
of sprouting seeds, including wheatgrass,
please go to my website here at CZ, and read
the three messages in the Nutrition section
about sprouting. One is titled Wheatgrass;
another is My Method.... and the third is
Broccoli Sprouts prevent cancer. I would transfer those posts to this forum, but I
don't know how to do it.
Regarding sunflower seeds: I use the organic
seeds from Whole Foods Market, and they give
me lovely sprouts.
Blessings,
Owen
