Re: Still no period 3 months post removal

I don't want to sound harsh, but why are you gageing your recovery from the Mirena on your menstral cycle? And why is your doctor so concerned that you aren't regular yet? You can look back into the history of these posts and find that most of us were told not to expect the return of our cycles for maybe three months or more. That's the return of a period, not a the start of regular cycles. I recently had a foot injury treated after suffering for six months and was told if I had taken care of it the first few weeks that it happened I would have healed up quickly, now I'm looking at 3-6 months to recovery time. Our bodies are amazing and can recover from catastrophic injury, but they need time. You should think about what you are expecting your period to tell you about your body, and then you should think about how your other side effects have subsided in the last three months since removal and really consider the trauma you are recovering from. It will get better, don't let yourself get overwhelmed with worry and stress or depressed because your body didn't get to 100% immediately.
