What color is your smoke?
I had this same conversation a few weeks ago.
An educated medical science writer and I were trading health experiences.
She believed that eating "healthy" was the only real option to good health.
That the majority of disease was due to "bad" eating choices.
At the age of 51 she came down with asthma, but for the most part she was "healthy".
I on the other hand have tried many different protocols and have attempted to understand why they worked or appeared to work and what the limitations might be.
I've come to understand that eating "healthy" is insufficient for everyone to be "healthy".
Even if you know Brix, grow your own food, purify your water from poisons, it may NOT be enough for the majority of people.
I KNOW from experience that her asthma is an indicator that her health is marginal as she can no longer handle a variety of simple "poisons".
True health is the ability to handle stress loading of any kind.
The healthy you are the more stress, whether it be toxins or mental stress, you can handle.
I have a Gold Standard, she eats "healthy" drinks "good" water and stays away from "bad" products most people don't even know about. Being smart, she has had a number of tests done to verify her health. She found out she has Lipo(a).
She MUST do a protocol to correct this as it is not corrected by diet or exercise.
So like most well meaning people, you have the "I eat good so my health will be good" pipe dream.
Sorry, you are indeed, blowing smoke.

Gracefully Savage
