Re: My niece being treated for MS!! Help!
It will take a while for your niece to feel better- in fact she may feel worse for a few days, but it is just the body trying to deal with the immediate loss of the synthetic hormone. There are so many symptoms with this stupid thing. Numbness, hair loss, headache, moodiness, anxiety, acne, rashes, dizzy, joint pain, abdominal bloat, constipation, depression, violent outbursts, ear ringing, leg cramps, sleeplessness, etc. Everyone has some or all of these symptoms, when we tell the doctors, they just look at us like we are bored housewives with nothing else to do. After she has it out, she might have chills- I did and I bled a lot with some tissue as well, I know it sounds like too much info, but it helps to know what other people have gone through, because the doctors just tell you that you may bleed for a day or two and they don't mention the other side effects that go along with it. I hope this helps and I hope it is the mirena and not MS. Good Luck.
