Re: My niece being treated for MS!! Help!

Many of us thought (or our dr's did) that we had ms or another autoimmune disease, because the symproms are so much like mirena "side effects" look for posts from "meat27" and "dutchmom" they had testing for all of these diseases and discuss them in some of their posts. I also have had similar problems, and have also had many negative tests for lupus, lyme disease, ana profile for ms, mri's, you name it. The symptoms went away for the most part a few months after the mirena was removed and the hormones were out of my system. One thing to watch for in your niece is anxiety, it is another side effect that most of us have experienced, and can be very scary to the [person having it because she may feel like she is freaking out. Just have her check this website, and read through the posts of the two I mentioned above, "danielle123" has some posts about anxiety, and "claudia1969" has some great ones with articles and lists from the manufacturer on side effects. The posts from them got me through some really tough times. Keep us posted, and tell her to get the terrible thing out!! I hope I was of some help.
