If there is supported evidence to the contrary it needs to proven.

It's a bit like Miracle-Mineral-Supplement cures herpes, well I treat allot of pools and water systems and Chlorine dioxide does kill herpes in water, but try to find the evidence it cures it and you get Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , which is totally unsupported by any evidence to prove otherwise.
