One day I was doing a breast exam and felt a lump. I made my husband feel it too. I started crying and was on the phone to the doctor in a hot second. It turned out to be nothing. I've done the same when I didn't have insurance and paid out of pocket. Every time it's turned out to be nothing. My lump felt like a piece of a pea.

A few points/questions/comments... First of all, your breasts will get a little lumpy and sensitive around your period and ovulation. I feel my cyst better around my cycle. How long have you noticed this lump? Has it grown at all or is it the same size? What did your doctor say? There are many organizations that can help you get a low cost mammogram. Tweet
