I suppose you can run a number of liver tests but since there is no garantee that anything will be in the abnormal range, so I passed on those.
As far as I know, there are hardly any drug supposed to improve a damaged/ineffective liver; having researched this issue on the net, I found that my best bet for that would be sillymarin--if I am not allergic to it, which is doubtful.
And yes, like you, I come from a family of allergics on both sides--it's a curse I have to live with.
