Thank you all so much for your honest opinions. It will also only cost me $10 for the Mirena. It sounds like with all of your experiences that it wouldn't be worth it. At least with the pill there are a million and one on the market to try if you are having trouble. All it takes to switch is new prescription! The Mirena sounded like an EXCELLENT choice to both my husband and me. Thank goodness I found your forum while researching. I am always leary of things like this. I wish you all well on your recovery/future bc decisions.
