Re: 5 day fast

Denigrate Church. How did i do that then? I just said if i want to be preached at i'll go to church. As far as i'm concerned that is the proper place. Anywhere else you are inflicting your belief on others. People choose if they go to church or not.

I agree that a long fast or several moderate fasts are needed to cure hypothyroidism. As i had digestive problems whilst refeeding even after a few days, i want to take it more slowly. Go longer each time. I never said i wouldn't go longer than a five day fast. I'm just saying that whatever people manage to do, should be hailed as an achievement. In Bragg's book, he recommends starting with short fasts, and only after a few months doing those, to then progress to longer fasts. As i said before, every time we fast, if only a short time, we are clearing toxins, surely this is going to make subsequent longer fasts a lot easier.

You shouldn't have any objections to this approach. It is not being pessimistic at all, most things we do in life, we practise first, we crawled before we walked, walked before we ran etc and of course i find the stories here inspirational. And one day i hope to be an inspiration to others also, but it wouldn't bother me if others tried 50 or 100 times, as long as they wanted to keep trying, that would be fine, and every success would be applauded.
